Terms for using DeskShare.

These terms govern your use of DeskShare as a guest, host, or visitor. Please read them carefully before listing, booking, or engaging with the platform.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using DeskShare, you agree to these terms and any additional rules posted on the platform. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Who can use DeskShare

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding agreement. Hosts must provide accurate workspace information, and guests must supply true booking details.

3. Listings and bookings

DeskShare is a marketplace connecting hosts with guests. Hosts create listings and manage availability; guests reserve space according to listing terms.

Every booking is subject to the listing terms shown at checkout, including cancellation policies, check-in instructions, and space rules.

DeskShare is not the provider of workspace services. Hosts are responsible for fulfilling bookings and maintaining accurate listing information.

4. Payments and fees

DeskShare supports M-Pesa, card payments via Paystack, and future payment methods. Guests pay the price set by the host and any transaction charges shown at checkout.

Hosts retain 100% of the confirmed booking value at launch. Any platform fees, listing fees, or subscription charges are disclosed separately.

5. Cancellations and disputes

Cancellation rights depend on the host's selected policy. Guests should review each listing's cancellation rules before booking.

If a problem arises, DeskShare provides dispute support through the booking dashboard. Guests and hosts should cooperate with the resolution process.

6. Code of conduct

All users must act respectfully, follow safety rules, and avoid discrimination, harassment, or unlawful behavior. Hosts should keep their spaces clean and accurately represented.

DeskShare may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or pose a risk to the community.

7. Intellectual property

DeskShare owns the platform content, branding, and technology. You may not copy, reproduce, or use DeskShare intellectual property except as expressly permitted.

8. Liability and disclaimer

DeskShare provides the marketplace "as is" and does not guarantee listings, availability, or host performance. We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses.
